Best stay and wedding experience I couldve ever imagined! I had my wedding of 150 guests at Ocean El Faro and I am so happy my husband and I chose to have our wedding there. We have been there 3 times and we loved the food, entertainment, and the lazy river. The lobby, plaza and rooms are stunning. We knew our families would love it too, most of them already want to go back. Osiris was a great help and was the main reason we chose to have our wedding there. Hilda went above and beyond for our wedding planning. She was on top of everything and made our experience so beautiful. Manolin, Samuel, Elizabeth, and dozens of others made our stays there amazing. We cant wait to go back!!

Overall this is a nice resort. The grounds are beautiful, pools are nice and lazy river is great, lots to do for everyone in your group. The free bowling and other amenities are a nice touch.
Where this resort wins:
Food and beverage was plentiful and consistent (although we found it very repetitive) but overall a step above standard resort food. The stand out surprise here was that the desserts (at the buffet) were amazing which was a nice change from the typical resort. Pool bar placement at each pool vs just one of them was also a welcome upgrade from typical resorts.
Where this resort looses:
Service: outside of the ala carte restaurants (which were great) staff are flippant and dont seem to care. Bar tenders and servers (mikes coffee) are slow and day to day interactions feel like work. Rooms were rarely clean by 4pm and no one seems to go out of their way for anything.
Resources: the resort seems to be under resourced for everything. Understaffed. Not enough tubes for the lazy river. No pool towels by early afternoon. Not enough lounge chairs which causes guests to be up at the crack of dawn to reserve chairs (havent seen this at a resort in years!). Same goes for the ala carte dinner reservations. If you login after 8am instead of right at 8am there is no availability.
Upkeep: for a 7 year old resort it seems more deteriorated than expected. Tons of pool tiles missing, rooms, restaurants and bathrooms already feel tired.
Overall a nice resort and the family had a nice time, but some work to be done to justify above a 4 rating.

The best Mojitos ever by Luis in the piano bar at H10 Punta Cana. Very friendly and the Mocktails are great too for my 9 yr old daughter. Service very good, so attentive and never miss the attention to detail.
