The rooms were nice, the bed was comfy, and the grounds were very well maintained. The beach was beautiful for the first half of the week and then the seaweed came in. They tried to clean it but the seaweed won. The lagoon has a net to keep the seaweed out so it was very pleasant to swim there. I will definitely return to this resort for the staff. They were helpful, warm and a joy to talk with. Our maid, Yokennedy, really saved us! We left our safe open and we she saw it, she took action to make sure our belongings were protected! I really appreciate her honesty and concern! Our butlers, Alexander and Dieby were outstanding! They were friendly and expertly took care of needs. Our favorite bar tenders were Hector from the lobby and Jhon from the Privilege pool. They just brought a fun energy to the day and we looked forward to seeing their bright smiles. Ana Christina from the Privilege restaurant was my Spanish coach for the week. When I told her I was learning Spanish she helped me practice daily! She was fun and a great teacher!

Wonderful Resort

We had a wonderful week. Our butler Deiby Santana was excellent! Responded quickly and efficiently. Although the resort is very nice, the cleaning of the beach area couldve done quicker. We also had a bad experience at the Bluemoon restaurantwe waited forever for drinks, bread and our diner was cold. We were there a total of 3 hours and it wasnt enjoyable. The place was overbooked and understaffed.

We loved this hotel they now have a separate building when you check in at El Beso with a bar. the staff are SUPER. there is a shuttle bus to take you where you want to go but sometimes you have to wait awhile for it We love the El beso bar where Dahri and Emancion served us . Close by is Pez Dama a small restaurant for El Beso at the beach .Carmen will look after you .also there is a wonderful lagoon next door but it will be under construction shortly so hopefully it will still be availiable. The food here is great the buffet has 3 sides ,family ,el beso and privileged all the al la cartes are great but we loved the steak house. Iandi ***** was the manager and like all staff they treated us awesome.there is a lazy river and great pool for the kids. Exceptional staff Louis Johnathan beach bar ,Francis Juan Carlos ,Naomi,pool bar ,Carmen ,Isaac, Percival dolce vita, Cecile buffet,Ricardo restaurant manager, José, sports bar, Ruddy Rte.66. WE ENJOYED THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE SO MUCH WE ARE GOING BACK IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS. We recommended to 2 other couples and they loved it here also. We miss Carlos at the piano bar.

Loved everything except the service. The service is so slow you could spend the better part of your day waiting in lines or waiting on service in restaurants. We ate at the Blue moon restaurant this evening and it was absolutely the worst service I have ever received at any resort that I have ever vacationed at. We were served wine just after we sat for dinner. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:30. Most of our meals were great but a couple of them were cold. We asked for refills on our wine several times but never received it. At around 9:30 a waiter came to our table with wine to fill our empty glasses. He laughed and joked as he was about to fill our glasses. We walked out at that point , never ordered dessert, and we weren't even asked if we wanted any up to this point. It's too bad because we really like everything else about this resort. We have been eating breakfast at the buffet in the morning and the service has been excellent.
