Rooms spacious and comfortable. Mauricio at mixology bar is very obliging and makes the best espresso martinis. Bernise at guest services is amazing as well. Nothing is too much for her. Shes always smiling and so very helpful. Wonderful stay at this resort

We stayed here for 8 nights. It is exceptionally clean and a very well looked after hotel. Plenty of places to go to eat on site. The Italian restaurant was amazing, we really enjoyed it in there. The pool with the swim up bar was great fun! If you wanted a more chilled and relaxed day then there was a lovely larger quieter pool. There were a few negatives - You cant purchase any bottled water. If you wanted bottled water you have to ask at reception for some to be delivered to your room. It would be great if they had free vending machines that you could get water bottles from during the day. We had two days when there was heavy rainfall, and this caused water to come through the ceiling and some of the plaster to come away and fall on the floor. This happened on both nights. I must say once reported the staff were quick to come and fix the damage. On top of the swim up bar there is an area called Ocean Burger where you can get burger and fries. What I found really odd was that you wasnt allowed to sit and eat there straight from the pool. You had to dry yourself and cover up. I could understand if you was going inside but this place is on the pool side and is outside. Very over the top and unnecessary to ask people to dry off and cover up. There was one gift shop in the hotel. Very expensive! 16 USD (12) for two bags of Doritos. The sea water was brown, I think this was down to the amount of seaweed there was which had to be cleared off the sand every morning which did create a bit of a smell. We had a great time here. I wouldnt come here again because I would want the crystal clear sea water experience, but I will come back to Mexico.

Our butler Luis was brilliant no question too much and able to facilitate some of our more rouge tasks, he switched dinner reservations with ease, we missed him on his day off as we felt he was the best !

OCT was once again a great fit for us. Tremendous service from some of the most friendly people you will meet. Out Butler Luis was excellent. Freddie and the entire staff at the Bistro made our breakfast and lunch a daily pleasure to look forward to. Along with great service came excellent food and drink. We were very pleased. Around the pool Ricardo is tremendous and always ready to meet our requests as were the entire crew of towel attendants around the El Beso pool. A special shout out goes to Jasmine and her staff at the Privilege restaurant. They worked hard to accommodate us and made sure our dining there was always a pleasure. Finally, thanks to Yesenia for helping us coordinate our stay and going above and beyond to help us.
