Ocean Coral & Turquesa, Riviera Maya

First of all I want to explain why I am giving this four stars rather than 5 , only because of some issues we had to deal with over food. They closed restaurants, one being the main buffet several times during our stay, we were very surprised by this and totally unaware this would happen prior to our stay. So for that reason it wouldn't be honest if I gave the extra star. We also had a situation with our room where we had to move to another room, this wasn't anybodies fault , just a little inconvenient the air-conditioning had started to leak and it made the room inhabitable. However thanks to the staff on the main reception desk it got dealt with efficiently, I want to shout out a big thank you especially to Eddie who went above and beyond his duties, his communication skills were excellent as well as his English language skills, I did feel that with others on the reception as helpful as they were they just lacked that extra confidence that I had experienced wiith Eddie, he was able to explain in greater detail the steps that had been put in place and he seemed as if he really did care about the hotels reputation and the guests staying there. He was friendly, polite, attentive and whilst my husband isn't looking, I'm going to add that he was very handsome too. Haha Right now that's out the way I will tell you the rest. The staff are really hard working, they deserve to be tipped whenever possible, 20 to 50mxn is hardly anything but they are grateful each time when you show your appreciation. The rooms are spotlessly clean, our maid was very thorough, the rooms are all a lovely size with walk in showers. We were in the adults only El Beso part of the hotel, but we did roam into the other parts and it all seemed as equally nice. The food was good and you could always find something to eat, just like with every all inclusive after 2 weeks it does become a bit samey., but we ate out a couple of nights. I want to shout out to a few of the other staff that made our vacation even better. Antonio, Filiberto and Luis from the buffet who always had a little smile and joke , Liana who stood out from the other girls when showing you to the table, she always greeted people with a smile. The little girl who usually shows people to their table in the Italian was also just as lovely, I sadly didn't get her name , but she was very bubbly and friendly and the trainee waiter in the Italian restaurant was also very hard working and friendly. Poncho who fetched our drinks from the pool area at El Beso, he works so so hard and has the patience of a saint. Some of the guest were really demanding and he always seemed to be able to carry on working with a smile, I'm not sure id have been so accommodating, especially in the heat and humidity. Then lastly to Elizabeth from entertainment, beautiful friendly and hard working. We hope your knee heals fast and soon, she even carried on with a smile even when it was obvious she was in a lot of pain. Then we cannot leave without mentioning our Tui Rep Luke and the bellhop Isaac who saw us off before our journey home, both friendly and helpful.

Eddie was so funny! hes english is really good and gave us lots of good tips and what to do locally thats both affordable and safe.

Eddie and Carlos were awesome at the front desk. Staff were friendly, they did a good job keeping the place clean, maybe need some humidifiers in every room to keep the humidity down/prevent mold growth. Some wildlife including racoons, cats and capybara that would often get fed by the tourists staying here - I wish staff had better opportunities to police this as wildlife can carry diseases. Sometimes the pool bar was understaffed, might have benefitted from having one more person (2 total) at all times to make sure drinks were being served to everyone. Snorkeling was fun, would definitely look at surf forecast to see when it might be calmest to go.

Alejandrogustavoeduardo and Henry serious were the best. Service was incredible I was never left thirsty. I had an amazing time with this amazing staff I would definitely be back because of them!!!
