We had a great week in Mexico!
The hotel is beautiful and all the staff are wonderful.
A special shout out to Yeol, Jonathon and Jesus at the El Beso pool. Great activities arranged, we did laugh!!
The room was really big, we had a ground floor room in section 3. We very much enjoyed watching the wildlife in the gardens.
We ate at the el beso restaurant for breakfast and lunch, in my opinion the best food in the place! Big shout to the Villa Marina too, we had lunch there a few times too and again one of the best restaurants. Did not enjoy the Mexican at all sadly, and I was so looking forward to eating in there. Just not me, sorry!
Queueing to get into the main buffet was odd, first time weve ever done that, food in there was very nice and we ate there nearly every night because we couldnt get the app to work to book anywhere else.
Lovely people at the customer service got us in the Mexican on our last night.
We had a really good time, the entertainment in the evening was very good mostly. The drinks and cocktails very nice.
The service is fantastic, never a problem anywhere.
The racoons are beginning to be a problem, theres so many of them, little thieves!! Super cute for an English person never seen them before, but so naughty and slightly scary! Theyre in everywhere and think everything is edible.
We caught a taxi into Puerto Morelos and had a walk around and saw the pelicans.
We caught a taxi to the ferry at the hotel district in Cancun and then the public ferry across to Isla Mojeros and golf buggy around the island. Easy to do.
We also went on a trip with Dive It to the turtles, denotes and Tulum, very good day and delicious lunch.
All in all a really great trip for my special birthday and I would definitely come back to Mexico again. Maybe not this hotel but only because we were kind of out the way, with nothing around the hotel as such.
