Loved our time at Ocean Coral and would highly recommend this hotel. Delighted that we booked Privilege - the butler service and Privilege Lounge make it well worth it. Carlos our butler did everything to make our stay magical. He was so helpful and kind, right from the moment we arrived, even made a fuss of my birthday and made special reservations every day. The hotel is very lucky to have him on the team. He truly makes every day feel like youre living the dream.
Food and drinks are great. We especially enjoyed Blue Moon. Has most of our breakfasts and lunches at Privilege Lounge where the menu was great and team were so friendly.
The El Beso private pool area is very chilled out with good music and waiter service. Special shout out to Jose who had our cabana bed ready every day. Will really miss his smiling face in the morning!
Lots of reviews mention issues with securing sun beds. Thats not the case for the Privilege area.
Adorable Housekeeping team too. Room was perfect every day with extra water and towels.
I really love how all the staff (literally everyone!) stops and says hello to you when you walk past. The vibe is so welcoming and relaxed.
Just what we needed to unwind.
Advice: Bring cash so you can tip people. You will want to because they are brilliant and all work so very hard to give guests the best experience.

Seaweed on the beach, a pain in the butt, why would you have a beach when it cant be accessible. Put a net out.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Were not impressed by not being able to go onto the beach into the water because of the seaweed. they should put up a net like other resorts do so we can enjoy it. We come for the ocean. Also, I wouldnt spend money on a butler, a big expense. They dont really do much for you. The gift on arrival was a flimsy bag and a bottle of winethat we dont drink we had to ask numerous times for them to fill our coffee. Other than that some restaurants, the food was absolutely wonderful.Well others was so so.

Amazing holiday and brilliant hotel

Not long back from an amazing 2 weeks in Mexico.
I can genuinely say this is the best holiday we have had in years!
The hotel was fantastic and had something for all the family (15, 12 & 5 year old kids included).
From check in to check out the staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble.
On check in we didn’t have adjoining rooms as requested however the staff soon fixed that and put us in rooms next door to each other which was peace of mind to have the older kids in the next room.
We spent virtually the whole holiday around the daisy club pool due to the little one. There was plenty of sun beds available with shade each day. The staff at the daisy club bar were brilliant and a special shout out to the daisy club girls who were amazing with our little one. So much so he kept asking to go back in each day (which was great to get him out the midday sun).
The whole hotel was exceptionally clean and the rooms were of a good standard. A few tired bit in the rooms but nothing that was to worry about.
Food in the hotel was great and there was a varied menu. Booking a table through the app was also really easy to do.
All in all a fantastic holiday at an amazing hotel. I’m sure we’ll be back at some point but there’s lots of other places in the world to visit first!
