Ocean Coral & Turquesa El Beso, Riviera Maya

This was our 8th time here. We came here to celebrate our 20th anniversary because this is our happy place. We have been to more expensive and luxurious resorts but NO ONE has the pleasant people like OCT. The 4 that topped our list this trip were Ricardo Poot, the world's best pool server. If I could hire 10 Ricardo's I could take over the world! Guy busts his butt everyday and I a great person also. Jose Lopez was the best pool concierge we have had by far and that's saying something, and our butler, Aldrin, (spelling?) Checked on us everyday, had extra water sent to our room and made sure our dinner reservations were made for us. You can't beat this place for the price. Always like coming home again!

We spend 5 amazing days here. The food was great with plenty of choices from seafood, steak, burgers, Italian and the many options the buffet has. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the nightly entertainment for both adults and kids. Can't wait to come back next year!

Well, I feel like this place, as well as the people, are family. Wonderful food, wonderful views, beautiful pools, great service, and it was nice to see them updating the rooms to stay on top. The new rooms are pretty solid. The couple that went with us were in those rooms. Large, beautiful mirrors, USB ports, beautiful colors and they are just getting started as they seem to be doing the rest of the rooms. If you were going, I would highly suggest paying for the Privilege if you have the ability. The morning staff at the Privilege is one of the best Ive ever seen. I have a dairy allergy, and they baked a special bread just for me each morning. Talk about service! Freedy, Eduardo, Miguel, Jesús, Emanuel, Susana and the chef Lorenza were not just attentive, but kind people who constantly go above and beyond. A few other key people I just have to mention because they are amazing and I would ask for them when you go: -Ricardo at the adult pool hustles in a way that I cannot explain and it is just amazing. - Villa Marina, Ricardo and Javier are simply spectacular. -Angel and Jaime at the privilege for dinner are professionals in every way. -Oscar at the Mexican restaurant knew when we needed refills before we even asked, and Carlos the butler was wonderful. I am sure I am missing people, because all of the staff at the Privilege were just amazing, also the leads and managers. Two women I am missing, and it kills me. They were managers of the restaurant. They deserved to be mentioned. As someone who worked as a server, I feel it is very important that guests take the time to think the people who make their state memorable. The state would not have been the same without those people mentioned. It just wouldnt have been remotely close to the same experience. And Yesenia, the concierge is always helping us in someway, whether that is adjusting something for more comfort, or guiding us on excursions and so much more. Considering how hard the workers push themselves to please guests, I am still astonished at how many people dont even bother to leave a dollar or two on the table. When you are all eating steak, and having free top shelf, liquor, a few dollars seems the least one could do. As climate change continues, there is more seaweed at the beach than in prior years, but they do all they can. There are little things that can always be improved or perfected, and I feel like they try each and every year. I think the remodeled rooms are going to make it an even better experience, so I would highly suggest. Definitely bring your own sunscreen. Pricy in the shop. And simply have a wonderful time! 5/5!

This was our fifth stay at Ocean Coral & Turquesa and it didn't disappoint! Franky and Vicente were the best bartenders! Franky is the most fun bartender we had on our visit. He always has the biggest smile and best attitude. And Vicente made the best cocktails of any bartender! Marisela was the best server. She was everywhere and always remembered all of our previous drink orders! Abraham was so attentive to everything we needed throughout our stay! The foam party was better than we remembered. With a DJ and dance competition, it was the best we've been to. The Fire Show was better than what we've seen in Tahiti! The service at Ocean Coral & Turquesa is why we keep coming back. The staff is absolutely the best and seem like they're all there to make sure you have the best time.
