Great trip

My sister and I came here for a girls' trip and had a great time! Antonio was a very attentive waiter by the pool, and Juan and Aurelio at the Blue Moon restaurant were excellent. We would definitely come back!

The staff are what makes the hotel fabulous!!

My husband and and I arrived 30th June. Checkin at the privileged desk was quick and efficient and we were welcomed warmly. We did have a hiccup arriving in our room the floor had puddles and the room smelled bad but Carlos our butler arranged for a different room immediately no question. The room was lovely, air conditioning and ceiling fan kept the room nice and cool and the dehumidifier was a god send. The bed and selection of pillows were so comfortable probably the best hotel bed weve ever slept on. Mini bar was well stocked and this was restocked fully every day. The housekeeping staff weee so good and very friendly with the turn down service being a lovely little touch. Our first night we ate outside in the privilege lounge and Angel was our waiter he was so nice. Breakfast in the privilege lounge is gorgeous. We ate breakfast in the buffet most mornings which was grand but privilege breakfast was so much nicer. The pool at privilege area was never too busy, always able to get a sun bed no matter what time we went down. Here the staff were absolutely phenomenal with a special mention for Ricardo who made sure we had drinks all day long and was so friendly and professional. He is a credit to your hotel. Enrique also deserved a special mention as he made sure we had buckets of ice and water every day and even rolled out our towels on the Bali beds for us. Nothing was too much for him and he is a wonderful person. It is the nicest pool Ive ever experienced on holiday. Carlos our butler arranged all our meals, texted every morning with daily updates on things happening around the resort. He also found us pool side every day to check in and make sure we were ok. Very attentive and we had some craic talking about the football. Food review - privilege restaurant gorgeous. Buffet was ok for breakfast and lunch and was grand at night always something to choose from. The Italian was the only one we were not raving about but thats ok there are plenty of other places. Mikes coffee shop was amazing for mid morning and mid afternoon coffees and cake. We went there every day and chilled out on the lovely wing back chairs and soaked up the beautiful surroundings. Blue Moon was gorgeous and Juan the host deserves special mention for his warm welcoming smile and good craic. Sensai was a lovely experience of show cooking and the staff again were very attentive and friendly. The Mexican restaurant had the nicest decor and Gorge was our waiter and the nicest man. The mango daiquiris are devine!! Ocean burger was grand just typical burger joint and the food was ok. We had lunch delivered to us at the pool one day and it was also fine. The choice of drinks and cocktails at the pool was great. Im not a big drinker but did try many of the cocktails and all were lovely. We felt so pampered here and actually only left the complex once to do the early morning bike ride with Carlos from the entertainment team which was a lovely morning. Thank you Carlos. I booked a spa session with Adela she came round and explained the treatments available and I booked an SOS after sun facial and body wrap for my last day as my Irish skin doesnt do well in the sun. Adela knew what I needed to treat my skin. My therapist Isela was so lovely and an absolute star the treatments were so relaxing and she is also a credit to the hotel. I felt amazing afterwards and the relaxation room is amazing. The hydrotherapy suite needs updating the pool was cold there but that didnt annoy me. We are going to return same time next year as we fell in love with the hotel mostly because of your staff who are the stars of this place. Next year we know which excursions we will definitely book but we honestly felt so looked after that we never wanted to leave!! Ive always been ready to leave for home at the end of the holiday but this time I wasnt. I could have stayed easily another 2 weeks for sure!! The only negative was the beach which was not to hotels fault at all as they were out with tractors every morning trying to clear the seaweed. It would have been nice to be able to lie on the beach and swim in the water but the pool was that amazing that it didnt bother us in the slightest. The Bali beds get the sun first thing in morning and last thing in the evening so I went there then and honestly they were so comfortable!! The privilege area is absolutely worth paying extra for if you prefer quiet and chilled. The main pool looked like great fun for people who like a lively area with activities and parties. Its nice to have the choice. The entertainment team work so hard all day and night to keep guests happy and entertained. Our favourite night show was Michael Jackson and the circus evening. I would be grateful if you please commend your staff for making our stay the best possible experience as they truly deserve the praise and you should be so proud of them. We will return next year and already cant wait!! Thank you so so much for making our first trip to Mexico so wonderful!!

Amazing holiday and brilliant hotel

Not long back from an amazing 2 weeks in Mexico. I can genuinely say this is the best holiday we have had in years! The hotel was fantastic and had something for all the family (15, 12 & 5 year old kids included). From check in to check out the staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. On check in we didn’t have adjoining rooms as requested however the staff soon fixed that and put us in rooms next door to each other which was peace of mind to have the older kids in the next room. We spent virtually the whole holiday around the daisy club pool due to the little one. There was plenty of sun beds available with shade each day. The staff at the daisy club bar were brilliant and a special shout out to the daisy club girls who were amazing with our little one. So much so he kept asking to go back in each day (which was great to get him out the midday sun). The whole hotel was exceptionally clean and the rooms were of a good standard. A few tired bit in the rooms but nothing that was to worry about. Food in the hotel was great and there was a varied menu. Booking a table through the app was also really easy to do. All in all a fantastic holiday at an amazing hotel. I’m sure we’ll be back at some point but there’s lots of other places in the world to visit first!
