Great Family Resort

We just returned from a week at Ocean Riviera Paradise traveling as a group of 10, including teenagers and seniors. Overall, we had a fantastic week and would recommend this resort for families.
A quick clarification for anyone booking: the El Beso (adults-only) section is not fully separate from the rest of the resort. Guests still share many amenities, so if youre looking for a true adults-only experience, this may not be the best choice.
What we loved:
Service: Staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Check-in was especially helpful in ensuring our groups rooms were close together.
Food: Exceeded expectations for a mid-range all-inclusive. Plenty of variety and good quality overall. Service was very slow at Route 66 and the steakhouse. Italian was amazing. We didnt have any trouble getting reservations and were not privilege. We had to book our reservations separate on the app but stopped by the restaurants and asked for a bigger table; as long as everyone had a reservation a bigger table was no issue.
Beach Pool and amenities : A standout feature. We walked along neighboring resorts and found this beachfront to be the nicest in the area. The restaurant at the beach was fantastic. Beach is small but the pool made up for it.
Amenities: Great options like the sports court and bowling kept everyone entertained.
Rooms: Clean and beds were very comfortable.
Things to consider:
Teen entertainment: Limited and mostly geared toward younger children. This is the main reason we might try a different resort next time.
Rooms: While clean and comfortable, there is some noticeable wear and tear.
Piano bar: Unfortunately, the piano bar is also used for hookah and had a noticeable smoke smell, so we werent able to enjoy it. This was a big disappointment.
We spent most of our time at the beach and beach pool, which really made the trip for us. Overall, it was a great vacation with something for everyone in our group.

Sushi making experience

Rafael and Antonio (Caesar) made the sushi making experience so much fun and exciting!! The sushi lesson was very informative and we got to eat the sushi after we made it. Would definitely recommend if you have time to spare!
