Reviews
Really good hotel but there are a few things that would have made it better for us
Sarah M
So just back from the hotel so thought would give an honest review.
Check in was swift - we had booked privilege so had a separate check in area.
We were assigned our butler (Lisandro) he took us to the privilege lounge to get lunch and then took us to our rooms. He was very helpful and booked all our restaurants for us, and made changes as and when we requested.
Our room was really nice, but the wardrobes do smell a bit musty. Fridge is well stocked and they will put in the drinks you want - a tip helps them top up with your preferred drinks.
Restaurants - we didnt really do the buffet so cant really comment on that. The privilege lounge was our favourite restaurant- the chateaubriand was delicious. The presentation of the food in all the la carte restaurants was really good. The food was great in most of them, our least favourite was the Italian. The route 66 restaurant was the one that was more like fast food than la carte. The food was really nice but the server we had was the most miserable person we experienced at the hotel. So put us off going back. All the other restaurants though- the staff were really good. We went the privilege lounge for breakfast each morning and it was fab being able to order from a menu - the breakfast was fab. We had amazing staff in privilege in both breakfast and dinner, special mention to Carlos, fernanda, yosi and manuel.
Pools- we stayed by the privilege pool, the staff were great from the guys in the swim up bar, marcelo being the main man. And the pool waitresses Irene and Luisa. The pool was quite quiet so could have done with some activities now and then.
Bars- we often enjoyed the piano bar especially when the karaoke was on. And Sam the barman in the piano bar makes the best cocktails!
The two teens with us loved the bowling alley and said the staff in there were brilliant but didnt get their names.
Disappointing things - my daughter is 16
And her boyfriend 17, we had to sign them in to the family lounge so they could play pool - there wasnt much for them to do at that age other than bowling and pool.
The activities whilst listed on the website werent always on. And things like bingo were always on in either el beso area or piano bar (and our teens couldnt come in to join us) I would say the hotel lacked activities for privledge.
Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer.
One thing I will say is the privilege lounge / restaurant was worth the upgrade.
Oh one other thing on the TUI website it said the gym was for over 16, but the hotel policy is over 18 so my daughter was very disappointed she couldnt use the gym.
Oh and the ice cream shop is only open from 4pm - 10pm so thats not ideal either!

This resort was beautiful! A great time for family and friends. The staff was amazing. Irene in the privilege pool bar made our time there so wonderful. She always had a smile on her face and remembered our names and drink order. She was always busy but made sure to make every guest feel special!
