Kids club here is amazing for little ones! I have a 6 year old daughter and a 4 year old son and they have wanted to go daily the team are very attentive and super interactive with all their activities. A special shout out to Anna who has been fabulous and my children have always been very excited to see her.

Travelled from UK as part of a large group for a wedding. Mix of ages from 3yrs to 60+
Lovely welcome and easy check in. Baggage taken to the room. We were allocated in the Daisy building facing towards the back (garden view) which was great as much quieter than pool view.
Room - We are 2 adults and 2 teenagers & were provided 2 double beds and double sofa bed, all very comfy.
TV had a few English channels.
Bathroom had walk in shower, jacuzzi bath , double sink & separate loo. Signs of wear & tear but perfectly adequate. Toiletries provided as well as hairdryer & clothes steamer.
We managed with the wardrobe/ drawer space provided but the hanging space was very short so no good for long dresses.
Minibar was replaced daily.
Air conditioning was ok but after visiting friends in another room we realised it wasnt as good as it could be so a quick call to maintenance and they had it freezing in no time !
Food & Restaurants -
A great choice of restaurants. A few can be booked on the app from 8.30am for that evening and some are walk ins, plus the buffet was always available and was very good. We never had an issues getting into the restaurants with the exception of Japanese. Thats not bookable on the app so you need to queue up from 8am which is a bit of a faff but be patient as its worth it.
With the exception of Blue Moon which was excellent & I really liked the Japanese, none of the food really wowed me. I enjoyed everything I ate but think its fair to say it was standard.
Bars & Entertainment - Lobby bar seems to be the main place everyone meets before/after dinner as well as outside in the Plaza area where there is live music. The piano bar was lovely. I didnt venture to the Sports Bar but others in the group said it was great, open late & live football matches were shown.
Shows were at the indoor theatre, bowling is available free of charge & there is a family lounge with Xbox, games etc.
Pools - all pools are available to everyone including the privileged pool (there is also an adult only pool). Each pool had different things ongoing such as pool basketball, kids games, chill out etc.
The swim up pool bars were great and if you take a Thermos / Yeti style cup they will happily fill it with your favourite cocktail.
Beach - unfortunately the seaweed was heavy whilst we were there so we didnt spend anytime time of the beach however they tried tirelessly to remove it. Im sure when its a different season the beach would be lovely.
On the beach facing the sea, if you walk to the right past the pink ladies and onto the green ladies, they do wonderful massages for very reasonable prices.
Tipping - Although it wasnt expected it was very much appreciated when received and think it did help for future service at the bars. We used both US$ and Pesos.
Excursions - We did catamaran trip to Isla Mujeras booked with Dive It and Xcaret with Trafictours , both are based at the hotel.
Location - Nothing in the immediate area except OXO shop one minute walk away where you can get essentials.
5th Ave is 20min taxi ride away with plenty of tourist shops and restaurants. Hotel taxis prices ranged from 20-30 each way depending how many passengers.
Wedding - we were there for a family wedding and the hotel did an amazing job. The package was booked through Tui via travel agent but the wedding coordinator based at the hotel was excellent. The bride & groom couldnt praise her enough.
Overall - we really enjoyed our holiday.
The weather was extremely hot and humid at end May /June
The staff were pleasant & the food and drink offerings were good. There is gentle entertainment if you want it (nothing very lively) or lots of areas to chill out if you prefer.
I would recommend this hotel & rate it as a good 4* standard

We have been to their resort several times a year over the last four years. We bought H10 membership and have not been disappointed with the service or experience. Yes humidity can cause a smell in your room, but ask for a dehumidifier. Yes there are seasons where the wind blows seaweed on the sand. Mother Nature!! The staff work endlessly to clean it
But the cleanliness, friendliness and delicious food bring us back again and again. Antonio is our butler and makes sure our stay is seamless. Sometimes the heat means we need to be on the beach for the breeze but the pool is amazing. Privilege lounge food and service is like no other. The Italian restaurant is a firm fav too (ask for Alexis). Pez Vela is great for lunch. Ask for Wilbert and Novello. The steakhouse manager Esteban will make sure you are happy and Adrian makes a special waiter.
Theres quiet here is you want peace and party if you fancy living large!
