great Vacation

Booked this resort for family vacation march 16 - 23 , selected Privilege. was worth it. Our room was spacious and clean. The food was very good, loved the Japanese and Italian restaurants. The Buffet was very good also, wide selection of food to please all tastes. The jerk chicken was the best. The privilege areas were nice to have, especially around the Kids water park, spent several afternoons there with grand kids. Special thank you to Selena and Melrose for your service with a smile. Privilege suites for families with young children is a game changer

My husband and I, along with our son, daughter-in-law and two young children each had a Privilege suite adjacent to each other. This is a repeat visit for all of us but our first time with all the Privilege premium amenities, such as dedicated butler service, access to a private lounge, and a restricted pool/beach area. The balconies feature a jacuzzi which one of the toddlers used for bath time outside! We made use of all the Privilege amenities and it elevated the vacation and allowed us to enjoy every moment. For example, restaurants were booked for us; room service available whenever the toddler was hungry outside of their schedule; extra towels delivered as needed; rooms cleaned around the grandchildrens sleep schedule; room turn down service and a very nicely stocked bar fridge. In addition, we had close access to the Privilege lounge for a cappuccino, a drink or a delectable meal in a more intimate setting. Desroy, the butler was always there for us. He even anticipated our needs and made suggestions that we had not thought about. Two cribs were set up in the room on our arrival day much to the relief of the parents. With his support, the days flowed smoothly, were carefree and all our wants were met. It was really appreciated. Having adjacent rooms allowed for our son and daughter-in-law to have a date night dinner once the grandchildren were asleep. We opened both adjoining doors to properly monitor the children. The rooms were private and quiet when the adjoining doors were both closed. Our grandson loved the lazy river, the dedicated childrens water park & pool, play structure and games room. All the staff were so kind to our grandchildren. Shandace recognized our grandson from his first visit and he was excited to see her throughout his visit. He spent time everyday looking for small lizards that scurried into the foliage. We were at the Ocean Eden Bay (adult side of the resort) December 2025. The resort was operational and welcomed guests gladly after the hurricane. More work has been completed since then and there have been improvements to the resort and their practices. For example, staff records guest information from the line formed at the buffet allowing guests to go right in when the doors open. The pool has been upgraded with new chairs and there are more of them. The beach has more palm leaf beach umbrellas providing shade to more guests. The Jerk Chicken Shack has upgraded sitting arrangements with tables, chairs and umbrellas. The nightly entertainment was varied and exceptional along the main boulevard. For example, there was a hand drum show, skilled musicians, dancers and soulful singers. One night, there was a s'mores set up with a chocolate fountain. Another night, there was a bouncy castle for young children and a bucking broncho for adults. We have our favourite restaurants but enjoy them all. We are frequent guests in Mikes Coffee shop to enjoy their premium coffee drinks (new options have been added), ice tea, snacks and goodies. The coffee ladies (Latoya, Tia & Alexi) remembered us and called us by our names when we walked up to the counter for the first time! They work so hard and with a smile. We had many meals in the Privilege lounge, along with meals at the Steakhouse, Bluemoon and Sakura. I know there are many more wonderful staff members that should be named (for example, Tashiana and Moya). The staff do their best to make your vacation exceptional. We LOVED our visit to Ocean Coral Springs!

Rooms: aesthetically pleasing, roomy, comfortable. Food: so many choices! Sakura and La laconda (Italian) definitely were top tier. And we were pleasantly surprised that Marthas market (all day buffet) was excellent. Sometimes at resorts the buffet gets old fastnot here. Many protein options, salad, potatoes, pasta, pizza, breads, desserts, on and on. If you cant find something here, I dont know how to make you happy. Jerk chicken was great by the beach, but the line got long. They need more staff there. Coffeetiny coffees! Maybe 6 oz. That was annoying. The only place we didnt like was Route 66 skip it. Entertainment: we played pool at the sports bar every night! Loved that. Ping pong is there too. Live music outside every night was fun. We attended the Michael Jackson show and magic show honestly, they were very entertaining! Never got to the bowling alley. Pool: really cold! That was a bummer. But many other people didnt seem to care. The early morning chair reservation thing is very real. If you want shade, get out there to reserve between 6-6:30 am. Privilege: we had it & we did appreciate it. The butlers were very attentive, the priority with making reservations was great, and having the staff bring you drinks and lunch poolside was excellent. Gym: the gym is not as nice as the pictures look. 2 treadmills and not great quality. Lots of weights. My son and I are runners so we just looped around the grounds early mornings and that worked well. Who wants to run on a treadmill when you can pass by the beach anyways?!? The grounds were beautiful. The staff was overwhelmingly kind. Was there an occasional grumpy staff person? Yes. But if we greeted them with kindness, they returned it. Bring small bills to tip. They are hard working people and were very appreciative of that.

Great Family Vacation

This is our first time in Jamaica and our stay at OCEAN CORAL SPRING was pleasant, The property is beautiful and is well kept, the room was modern clean and it smelled nice, there is pleanty of activities for all ages, we loved the live band that plays every evening. The food was really good and fresh especially in Sakura 10/10 and La Locanda 10/10 The staff was cool especially the males.. The blue team was very entertaining the swim up bartenders ROMARIO, JAHEEM, and RAJAY were nice, funny and attentive, DERWAYNE from the lobby bar was also very nice and friendly, We had a lil accident at the beach and met JULIEN from security who was awesome along with SHELDON the security manager who is so cool and calm along with PHILLIP the Guest services manager who is very attentive and professional these men are amazing and they dealt with this stressful situation professionally and kept us calm. THANK YOU, We will definitely be visiting again very soon.
